How can I use the products?

What should I do when I receive my package?

Once you receive and open your package place the cheese(s) in the refrigerator as soon as possible.

What is the shelf life of received product?

Dorothy’s Creamery guarantees a 14 days shelf-life once you receive the product.

Can I freeze the products?

In order to guarantee the quality of Dorothy’s Creamery’s products, we do not recommend freezing them as it may affect the taste and consistency.

Who should I contact if I have any question?

Is the packaging recyclable?

We recommend that you dispose of the cardboard and the newsprint in a recycling container.

ORDERS AND RETURNS

How can I place an order?

When you finish shopping, click “Checkout” to place your order. All the items in your shopping cart will appear in the order during checkout. If you don’t want to order one or several items, just delete them from your shopping cart. For the checkout, you will need to enter the following:

  • Your email address and password
  • The delivery address
  • Your payment information

You will be able to verify your information in checkout. If nothing has to be changed, click on “Checkout”. You will receive a confirmation e-mail that your order is being processed within 1 business day. You will receive a second e-mail to notify you when your order has been shipped.

How can I cancel or change my order?

You can cancel or change an order, within 1 hour after having placed it by contacting us via e-mail: info@dorothyscheese.com.

Do I need an account to place an order?

You can create an account if you want to register your data. It will be easier for your future orders.

How can I return a product?

Dorothy’s Creamery items are final sale. If a product arrives damaged, our Customer Service will work with you to provide you with the best solution.

What happens if I don’t receive my ordered package?

FedEx usually make X delivery attempts before the package is returned to Dorothy’s Creamery. As we ship fresh and perishable products, we are unable to reship a package returned by FedEx. It will be processed as a return. You should take this into consideration while selecting your shipping address for your order.

PAYMENT & DELIVERY

Which payment methods are accepted?

Dorothy’s Creamery uses PayPal Business to process the payments. Payments through PayPal and credit cards are thus accepted.

What is the shipping method?

Dorothy’s Creamery ships via FedEx Express.

Where does Dorothy’s Creamery ship?

We ship only in the USA, except Alaska and Hawaii and don’t ship to Puerto Rico or P.O. Boxes.
We only ship within the contiguous United States and do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or addresses with P.O. Boxes.

What are the shipment’s fees?

4 zones :

  • North East States
  • South East States
  • Midwest States
  • Western States

When are the cheeses shipped?

Dorothy’s Creamery ships from Monday to Thursday. Every order placed after 2pm on Monday to Wednesday will be shipped the following day. Every order placed from Thursday 2pm to Sunday, will be shipped the following Monday.

How long will it take for my cheeses to arrive?

We process orders once payment authorization and verification have been obtained. We ship using FedEx, delivering within one (1) to two (2) days.

How will my cheese be delivered?

Dorothy’s creamery products are usually shipped in insulated boxes with ice packs to ensure it stays cool. As a reminder, we are not shipping frozen products.
